The programme is aimed at presenting documentary production of the selected countries and interconnecting film professionals from the partner countries and the Czech Republic. This year, DOC.STREAM’s partner country is Iceland.

DOC.STREAM offers a wide range of industry activities, as well as a film programme aimed at introducing documentary films from the participating countries. The programme fosters collaboration among film professionals from these countries and creates a platform for experience and know-how exchange in various areas of the film industry. It also continues the long-term effort to engage film school students in industry activities on the national and international level.

The goal of DOC.STREAM Iceland is to foster further collaboration between film professionals on an international level as well as showcasing the achievements of Icelandic directors. In addition to screenings, DOC.STREAM Iceland will include discussion panels and the ability for film professionals to meet and discuss with members of the Icelandic film industry.

This year’s program for documentaries includes a complete vantage of Icelandic documentaries; including both recently released films and retrospective works. In addition, Attendees will participate in masterclasses led by distinguished members of the Icelandic film industry whose works will be presented at the festival. By including interactive activities, DOC.STREAM hopes to promote collaboration, facilitate the opportunity for creative inspiration, and explore the future and new approaches of international film distribution.
