Synopsis

A film about two bed-ridden men - Dominik, the father, and his son, Bernard. Through interviews we learn about their lives; Dominik used to be a priest, he has four children, and Bernard was completely healthy as a child. They only talk about the most essential things together, and their brief sentences indicate the fatal symbiosis between parent and child. That is why sometimes the film shifts towards the more comic pole, for instance when they have visitors, and that is why the closing music, an homage to both of them, is the blues.
