A conversation between a graduate and his former abusive teacher becomes an engrossing reflection on student disciplination. Allegations from students and teachers reveal deeply rooted practices of bullying and sometimes even brutal corporal punishment, rethink forms and methods of control, and show the helplessness of students and long-term consequences of this pedagogical approach.

Taiwanese director Mi-sen Wu (1967) completed his filmmaking studies in New York and is known for his film Van Gogh’s Ear. He incorporates the surrealistic imagination and sense for the absurd into his work.
