Synopsis

The projection of constant activity into the poeticized observation of a normal daily routine, from waking up in the morning to working in a laboratory and shopping, to evening exhaustion outlines the portrait of a woman through the incessant fullness of her day.

Biography

Originally from China, director Ling Zhuang (1940) grew up and creates in Taiwan. During the 1960s, he filmed for the Sino-American Joint Commission on Rural Reconstruction, then he worked for television, but also filmed documentaries about changes in society. Since the 1970s he has taught young photographers.
