Synopsis

Reflections on the surface spill over into a reflection of events and everyday life in the city, where the ceaseless movement in the busy streets and labyrinthine markets is permeated by lyrical and abstract moments arising primarily from the natural light compositions accompanied by a jumble of sounds.

Biography

Taiwanese director and teacher Hsiu-Ching Wu teaches filmmaking at National Taiwan University. She focuses on female heroines, but also takes into account the social and political aspects relative to the position of women and the historical relationship towards women.
