Synopsis

This formally wild experiment uses primarily editing and sound to evoke a model situation of a social and economic crisis in an unspecified country, which we experience through the insubstantial babbling of public officials. A “political leader” slides into hysteria on live TV and incites uncontrolled aggression.  

Biography

Andrea Tonacci (1944), one of the most prominent figures of the Invention Cinema movement, has made two iconic films: Blah Blah Blah and Bang Bang (1978). He explores the possibilities of video production and films the cultural expressions of indigenous peoples.
