Miron’s exploration of the experience of watching a film as a series of stimuli within the brain is a commentary on our perception of light and the creation of the sense of motion. The film is a collage of strange images (both concrete and abstract) with multiple meanings, combined in a seemingly absurd manner with short humorous sketches and a critical viewpoint.

In the 1980s, Canadian filmmaker François Miron (1962) began working exclusively with optical printing and manipulating the emulsion. He gradually abandoned his exploration of the viewer’s perception and began to create more traditional documentary and fiction films.
