A mass of protestors in remediated scenes, a becomes an expression of the strength and passion of the crowd, while dynamic abstractions and visual shifts show changing interpretations of people´s expressions within a crowd and of their reasons and objectives for protesting, all in a lightning-fast onslaught of media images.

Video artist Guli Silberstein (1969) was born in Israel but lives and works in Great Britain. He studied film and media in Tel Aviv and New York. His films, in which he uses digital technology to manipulate images, explores questions of media representation, war, violence and power. The Ji.hlava IDFF has shown several of his works, including System Error (2013), Nour (2015) and Stuff as Dreams (2016).
