Synopsis

Paris is a city that makes an impression on you. An open city, where you can wander freely from one level of society to another. Such a city is inspirational for a young person whose personality is just forming. In the partly documentary-style story of Nadja, unfurling across the background of this metropolis, the relationship of the French and foreigners undergoes analysis.

“I believe in a film space that is homogenous, self-sufficient, and independent of installation methods. The word plays a redemptive role – although the dialogues are key aspects of my films, they’re never descriptive.” Éric Rohmer
