The dispersion of moving outlines emphasises the fragility of the images of solid structures, which, converted to flickering projections, disappear in bright clouds of film luminance. The geometric sensitivity of the simple exploration of dizziness from above astonishes the viewer with the rhythmic diversity of the basic movements and progressions found in the layering and overlaps, which construct images and textures of unlikely shapes. This work pays a hypnotically precise tribute to metropolitan symphonies.

The overlapping edges of the symmetrical shapes of skyscraper architecture create a flickering polygon with variable sides demarcating the shifting structure of the metropolis.

Australian experimental filmmaker Richard Tuohy (1969) works exclusively with celluloid. He runs the specialized Nanolab for developing movies, and is also behind the Artist Film Workshop, at which he teaches filmmakers how to work with raw film material. He is the founder and director of the Australian International Experimental Film Festival. Previously, the Jihlava IDFF screened his film Ginza Strip (2014).
