Synopsis

The director and his family move to live with Polish emigrants in Argentina. The film’s focus is the relationship between the director’s eight-year-old son Janek and eleven-year-old Marcia. Their carefree children’s universe is juxtaposed against their precarious financial situation. The film is a follow-up to the 11-year-old project The Siberian Lesson.

DETAIL:
“There is always something against us. Economical problems... other people have the same situation. They’ve been cutting salaries. We have nothing. We have to find some solution.”
