Synopsis
In France in 1968, instigated by Chris Marker, the first type of parallel film was born – the “cinétract”, or film flyer. Short collages of images with no soundtrack aimed to provide accurate information about the events of May 1968. The authorship of these anonymous works is difficult to ascertain. Film Flyer No. 2, which depicts one student’s poem in visual form, is judged to be by Alain Resnais.

DETAIL:
“Our existences are littered with plays, films, novels, painting, and music. It’s something that’s common to all 194 countries of the world. I think it’s amazing.” Alain Resnais
