Alice Lovejoy

Is a film theorist and historian, and a doctoral student at the prestigious Yale University, she spent a year at FAMU in Prague on an international scholarship. She is interested in the history of Czechoslovak cinema, especially the relationship between the army, the state apparatus, and cinematography. She has worked as an editor at Film Comment, and in the Czech Republic she has written for the review Cinepur and the film history and theory magazine Iluminace.
