Der Marebrechst + Gurun Gurun plays Karel Gott

Der Marebrechst:
A mess tin is no worse than a Walkman, when it comes to the post-apocalyptic world! A landscape featuring dozens of tiny objects where mechanical movement intersects with electronic sensors both looks and sounds marvelous. Of his own making and with a vision all his own and a radical sound, Der Marebrechst performs rarely, yet as a rule succeeds in immediately winning over audiences, including those who are no fans of ambient waves of noise. As a painter, Peter Válek is a renowned figure of Czech Art Brut.

Gurun Gurun plays Karel Gott:
The electroacoustic quartet, fresh from a tour of Japan and the international success of their album Kon B, will perform live accompaniment to the feature-length documentary film Karel Gott (1986, dir. Jiří Janoušek). The Master as chef. The Master as artist and his palette. The Master on tour (in the East). “If you´re lonely just follow your lucky star.” Post-pop sound frottage as a catalyst for looking back at the official values of yesteryear.
