Vladivojna La Chia

Czech Radio invites you within the supporting programme of the Ji.hlava IDFF to a concert by Vladivojna La Chia and to a party of Radio Wave DJs.
Vladivojna La Chia is Czech composer, singer, songwriter and artist. She debuted in 2001 with the band Kočičíčíči, and a year later helped found the critically acclaimed Banana. Her solo album Tajemství Lotopu was released in 2009, featuring Indian guitarist Amit Chatterjee (who has worked with the Joe Zawinul Syndicate, Sting, and Santana) as guest artist. In 2011, she released the soundtrack album to the Jan Hřebejk’s fi lm Innocence, which was nominated for the Czech Lion and the Czech Film Critics’ Award. Th at same year, she released the album Bohémy, which included a fantasy-fi lled book of her own drawings and original fables, Vladibajky. Vladivojna has performed with Laco Deczi, Lenka Dusilová and Varhan O. Bauer. She has spent the past fi ve years organizing the a programme on Czech Radio Vltava called Čajovna (Tea Room). She holds a degree in intermedia art form Ostrava University’s Faculty of Fine Arts.
